Advertising runs in my blood. Check out my parents' picture above as they pose in front of a billboard ad for a Cuban beer called "CERVEZA LAGARTO," which was imported from Holland to Cuba back in the early '90s. They actually came up with the slogan, which was a clever play on words and was used for many years until the company ended business with Cuba. I decided to continue their successful copywriting endeavor and transform it from a lifelong dream into a professional career. Copywriting has been an outlet for my love of movie lines, song lyrics, culture, and human connection. Advertising has given me the opportunity to create something real, meaningful, and lasting. Something that can truly resonate with people.
